This lovely lady, Clarity comes straight out of Liverpool with some real music. Y'know the kind that touches your soul and feels more than just sounds and words.
This is some soulful chit right here, I urge you all to at least give her the time of day. 'Present Day' is my personal fave, it's really quite beautiful.
To download her free EP all you gotsta do is click on the image below, easy as pie's from Iceland.
I first heard Amplify Dot aka A-Dot on the female mix of 'Game Over' and thought she was OK, nothing more. This tune shows she has alot more to give though, clever witty line after clever witty line.
OMG GUYS KANO SPAT AN ILL VERSE, KANO NEVER SPITS AN ILL VERSE NOWADAYS!
Essbee get's Seanie T, MC D, Supar Novar, Pesci, Skeme, Rodney P, Mystro, Farma G & Skriblah all to jump on board for some murky ish!
Nice to see 'the uk's leading youth broadcaster' showing the kids them some old school heads, instead of chucking a whole bag of boring saying-the-same-as-the-last road rappers on a beat.
I can't say I'm a fan of the original of this, or of much else Example stuff, other than the tasty remixes he seems to always have from varying dnb & dubstep producers. This is yet another of those...
Rusko has a new single on the way, Netsky and a couple of others have remixed it. The original version of the track doesn't seem to surfaced yet, weird. I'm feeling the old school vibe on this Netsky remix though ALOT.
Suicide Kids is an upcoming British thriller, produced by Idris Elba and starring Robert Sheehan (the funny Welsh dude from Misfits), Tulisa from N-Dubz, Asher D from So Solid Crew and what seems like half of the Adulthood cast.
When a young girl [Amber] takes her own life, her friend Archie Eden and seven other London teenagers decide to follow her lead and create a suicide pact, but as the group begins to die one by one, Archie realises they have become the target of a masked killer. The suicide kids decide that life is too valuable to throw away, unfortunately the decision is no longer theirs... They're dying one by one, but who is the killer? Everyone is a suspect.
Meet Kenny:
That is one emotional sounding Maverick Sabre tune on that trailer, damn.
This is easily my favourite track off of an album NME have completely slated, comparing Chase & Status to Kosheen. I'm not entirely sure I agree with that, but I know I preferred their previous album.
After hearing her song titled 'Breathe' (which features on the new 'Suicide Kids' movie trailer) I've become really stoked on this Delilah chick. Check out 'Breathe' below, it's also a free download, grab that while you can!
It's nice to see Professor Green is still working with the people he used to all those years back when I used to listen to the Haunted House Productions show on Kiss 100.
This is lifted right off of the Anuvahood soundtrack
Ok I'm posting this because I just..... Well I want her to be my girl you get me. She's so fine, them eyes, them legs, that body, just all of her. (Out 8th May 2011)
Yasmin if you ever see this post my e-mail is in the top right hand corner. :) Opalfruit. Peace!
I'm not overly keen on this, but it's still better than most stuff out at the moment. Durrty smacks it each and every time, I honestly can't remember a time when I've thought he was getting a little slack. Man shows consistency what it's there for!!
Ghetto is a dickhead for most of the stuff said in this song.
Yeah the people mentioned may have been on the panel, but the list they were compiling was for MTV bruv?! If you thought that the underground mc's were gonna feature you've gotta be an idiot.
Ghetts is gonna get alot of negative attention due to this.
Nice chilled conceptual music for the night time from Slough's Byron
I first stumbled onto this guys music at the second of Ctrl Alt Shift & Riz Mc's 'United Underground' all-dayers @ The Southbank Centre in London, after he came up to me and a couple of mates and said these words...
There's two kinds of people in life; the ones that listen to music, and the ones that feel the music. You guys are feeling it!
He then went on to explain how he had been selling his 'Jack Of None' CD prior to our meeting, but because we felt the music so much he gave us all a gratis copy. Now if that isn't humble I dunno what is?!
I get home and play the CD and kinda wish I paid the guy for it, definitely one of the better free cd's I've got my hands on.
You can get your hands on this track for free from his Soundcloud by just pointing that little arrow thing of yours HERE and clicking.
This kid never fails to impress me, like a huge rack of ribs boobs. Jimmy's second mixtape 'Growing Pains' drops later this month (or so I'm told?), look out for a possible early review on this very rassclart paaage!
He's one of the sickest music acts in Britain (I don't care what ANYONE says!) be it when he's tearing up a grime beat, crafting great concepts (see 'Masks', 'The Heroine' & 'I Need You') or plucking away at the strings of a guitar, doing refixes of some of the biggest tunes this and that side of the ocean. This guy just knows how to entertain a dudes earlobes.
This is taken from The Overload EP, which is on sale on Feb 28th.
