Shaking In Your 'Little Boots'

At first I was thinking about making a P Money vs Ghetto post, but since that topic has been exhausted by just about everybody, I thought instead I'd leave you with a dubstep tune. Coming from a little known producer from Leeds, by the moniker of JSaxton, he is starting to make waves with his remix of Little Boots' 'Earthquake', It reached number 11 on the Hypem charts yesterday.

This manages to incorporate the best of Little Boots' vocal with a heavy drop, but still keeps the pop aesthetic of the original, which allows it to sound fresher than most generic dubstep tunes. This kid is one to look out for.

Lowkey Smashes It

Lowkey doesn't seem to know how to spit anything terrible. This man is a flipping BEAST.

Nolay Smacks It.

One of my favourite grime beats gets absolutely smashed to pieces by Nolay.

Gal Are Locked In Like Them Man Are HARD!

Very 'ard tune, not a very 'ard video if I'm honest.

Stoked On: Jimmy Jitsu

Those UK Hip-hop fans amongst you readers will most definitely have heard of Lowkey, Logic & the whole Peoples Army movement. A collective of like-minded artists pushing out positive, conscious music, to hopefully educate and inspire people in a world where what really matters has become twisted.

However, you may not have heard of their youngest recruit, one 17 year old named Jimmy Jitzu. Hailing from South London, Jimmy had been secretly writing lyrics from a young age, until one day getting spotted by Logic at an Open Mic night in Brixton, the rest, as they say, is history.

If you want to hear more from a definite 'one to watch' in the UKHH game, you can download his debut mixtape, 'The Lightbulb Revelations' for FREE, just click on the mixtape cover.

There will also be hard copies for the hardcore heads in due course.
Look out for It's Gutter's review of that real real soon.

I'll let the fact he said 'guitarer' rather than 'guitarist' slide...
